Lampy te powinny by\u0107 starannie zaprojektowane, aby charakteryzowa\u0142y si\u0119 wydajno\u015bci\u0105 oraz trwa\u0142o\u015bci\u0105, jakiej oczekuj\u0105 u\u017cytkownicy. Wy\u015bwietlacze u\u017cywane w p\u0142askich telewizorach, komputerach, sprz\u0119cie medycznym, oprzyrz\u0105dowaniu samolot\u00f3w, a nawet w pompach gazowych – standardowo zasilane s\u0105 napi\u0119ciem 5 lub 12 V.
